Self Control

Respect
Self-Discipline
Welcome to Little Ninjas, the safe and exciting space created to give your child a chance to explore their physicality as we introduce them to the basics of Martial Arts. Each forty-five minute class includes simple warm-ups and stretching techniques, to get those little bodies moving, as well as agility courses, which have been carefully designed to develop co-ordination and balance, whilst stimulating and inspiring the playful mind. As our Little Ninjas progress and grow in confidence and ability, we introduce self-defense based techniques such as kicks, punches and blocks, always instilling an essential understanding of respect for others and self-discipline.
In our experience, children who learn Karate also respond fantastically well to its traditional, belt promotion system, which offers them a visible measure of their progress, helping to build self-esteem, whilst simultaneously encouraging them onto the next level.
All teachers and assistants of the Abel Karate Club have undergone full DBS checks.
